A devastating fire in May 2010 in the historic Dartmouth Town Centre affected 8 buildings On Higher Street.

EmanuelHendry was appointed as timber conservation specialists to advise and undertake the historic building repair strategy on the most historically significant of the affected buildings.

The primary objective was to retain as much of the original fabric as feasible and incorporate it with new work reinstating the original form.
