A modern twist on the traditional craft of oak framing. New portal oak frames were designed by Architects, 'New British Design' to solve the geometry of this modern extension on Dartmoor.

Large steel flitch plates we slotted discreetly between the oak beams to enable a clear span open plan living space inside.
